Hello there! I'm Taylor...
... and that's my husband, Mat!
I am your bubbly, always-smiling, popcorn-loving, Audrey Hepburn-obsessed, dog mom - intimate portrait photographer here in Oakville, Ontario and the mastermind behind Taylor Grant Photo.
My passion for photography started in high school with a film photography and development class and a great teacher.
From there it grew threw photography jobs and encouragement from friends and family. I moved from my hometown of Kingston to study creative photography at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario and graduated in 2012. I have been creating intimate portraits with unique humans who radiate true beauty from the inside out since then.
I have built my business around two avenues of photography that I am deeply passionate about...
Empowering and motivating others to indulge in self love experiences. By providing beautiful humans with photographic proof that they are unique, they are powerful, they are strong, they are worthy, they are enough, and they are loved, I believe they can continue to grow and blossom in a positive and healthy way through this experience.
Providing beautiful humans with timeless and intimate memories of themselves and their loved ones.
I provide couples and families with casual, fun and romantic portrait sessions to capture the most memorable milestones in their lives. I have photographed many people simply wanting to show and capture their love and growth together. From Engagement announcements (one turned into a surprise Wedding), intimate anniversaries, maternity announcements and unique Weddings as well as large gatherings for various kinds of special celebrations. I have photographed almost everything once.
Here's a little more about me...
I enjoy working with small businesses to help promote their products and services.
I love shooting with smoke bombs!!!
I am OCD organized... organizing things brings calm and joy to my life.
I enjoy a quiet and calm morning yoga practice when I get the chance.
I'm a great amateur baker. I take after my Grandmother.
A few more things I hold dear to my heart include dairy-free latte's, country car rides, cosy sweaters, anything to do with Audrey Hepburn, time with my family and friends and of course time with the most important people in my life - my husband and our golden doodle pup, Ziggy.
